My Story
Hi! I'm Emily, a 14-year-old cellist with a big dream and an even bigger heart for music. Next summer (2026), my youth orchestra has been invited to tour 15 beautiful cities across Italy – can you imagine? We'll be performing in historic venues where classical masters once played, {like Vivaldi's church) sharing our music with audiences who appreciate the art form.
This is truly a working tour. We will practice every single day we are there, then perform throughout the entire 21 days.

Fundraising:
I've worked extremely hard to be invited to be part of the Young Artist Enseble for the Lake Arrowhead Arts Association, and play with the Mountain Top Strings with director Sharon Rizzo.Now, I need to raise $8,300 to cover all travel and lodging costs for this once-in-a-lifetime experience to play in Italy.Instead of simply asking for donations, I've decided to put my entrepreneurial spirit to work!
I am doing small concerts along with a few of my orchestra friends. We are for hire to fundraise for this trip which will be a lot of work, but completely worth it.
My grandmother is teaching me how to make food to cater/sell.
My auntie is teaching me to make bread to sell.
Other Aunties have purchased, others donated, and others pledged a big donation.
My dad and brother are making and selling carved bears, and birds.
My mom is teaching me time management, and how to organize, plan, and market my items as well as organize fundraisers.This all means the world to me.
